In hydraulic actuators receives high pressure hydraulic oil with control direction. Speed is also controlled with element of pressure pack. for producing linear motion the hydraulic cylinders are used. For rotational motion hydraulic motors are used. In hydraulic pump receives oil from reservoir.
Electric motor receives current from mains. Electric motor provides rotational movement to the pump. Linear actuator provide reciprocating motion to joints.
Advantages
1) This actuators are self lubricating and non corroding.
2) They have more load carrying capacity than electric and pneumatic actuators.
3) Mechanical linkage is not required.

5) These actuators are have high efficiency.

Disadvantages
1) In hydraulic actuator if leakage can occurs causing loss in performance and general work area.
2) Hydraulic power is usually not workable economically as cost of hydraulic machines not decrease in size.

4) If fluids will leaks then it deliver less efficiency.
5) Weight of this actuator system very high.
6) This actuators need more additional parts motors, valves, sensors, pumps etc.
