Hi guys another new topic What is Robotics so without wasting time lets start,

 What is Robotics?

Robotics

  • Robotics is the a application of mechatronics to create robots, are used industry to perform difficult and dangerous tasks.
  • In today's world robots are used in medical sector to perform the role of supply medicine and other tasks to ensure better quality.
  •  Robots are in different shapes and size, robots are programmed and interact physically with the world.
  • To create the robots engineer employees the mechanics(to find stress within robot) and Kinematics(to find Robots range).

    What is Robotics

  •      Robot's are used in many industrial application. Robots are used in business sector to save money on labor, perform tasks on dangerous or precise For humans to perform them economically.
  •  Robots are use in defense related works like bomb disposal space exploration and many other fields.
  • Robots are also used in residential application's, from recreation to domestic application.

A robot is a machine or mechanical device that is capable of carrying out tasks automatically or with some degree of autonomy.

Robotics encompasses various branches of engineering, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and even elements of biology and psychology. It involves the integration of sensors, actuators, and control systems to enable robots to perceive their environment, make decisions, and execute actions.

The applications of robotics are vast and diverse, spanning industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, logistics, space exploration, entertainment, and more. In manufacturing, robots are commonly used for tasks like assembly, welding, painting, and packaging, improving efficiency and precision. In healthcare, robotic systems assist surgeons in performing minimally invasive surgeries with greater precision, and they also aid in rehabilitation and patient care.

As technology advances, robotics continues to evolve with innovations in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and human-robot interaction, paving the way for more capable, adaptable, and intelligent robotic systems.

Uses of Robotics

Automation: Robots can automate repetitive or mundane tasks, freeing humans for more complex and creative work.

Precision: They offer precise control and accuracy, crucial in tasks like manufacturing, surgery, or research.

Efficiency: Robots can work continuously without fatigue, leading to increased productivity and reduced production costs.

Safety: They can handle hazardous environments or tasks that are risky for humans, thus improving workplace safety.

Exploration: Robots are used in space, underwater, and other challenging environments to gather data and explore areas beyond human reach.

Assistance: They aid people with disabilities or limitations, offering assistance in daily tasks and improving quality of life.

Overall, robotics serves to improve productivity, safety, and capabilities across various industries and applications.

Examples of Robotics

Manufacturing: Robots automate assembly lines for precise and efficient production.

Healthcare: Surgical robots assist in minimally invasive surgeries, enhancing precision and recovery times.

Logistics: Autonomous robots optimize warehouse operations by picking, packing, and transporting goods.

Agriculture: Robots automate tasks like planting, harvesting, and crop monitoring, improving efficiency in farming.

Space Exploration: Robotic rovers explore other planets, collecting data and conducting experiments.

Home Assistance: Domestic robots like robotic vacuum cleaners aid in household chores and tasks.

Objectives of Industrial robot

1) Increase productivity.

2) To improve quality of product

3) Minimize the labour requirements.

4)  Enhance the life of production of machine.

5) Production time reduce.

6) Improve manufacturing process.

7) Minimize accidents and diseases.

8) Robots performing tedius and hazardous jobs.

Main component of robot

1) Base which may be fixed.

2) Manipulator arm with no of degrees of freedom of movement.

3) Drives also call actuator.

4) Gripper for holding a piece or a tool.

So in this article we discussed about what is robot? hope understand well. thanks for reading it.
